We all hear about writer’s block. We can imagine how frustrating it must be and can empathize with writers whose career are in jeopardy of being sidelined by this. However, we rarely hear of others in the creative field who sometimes suffers from a similar ill. But the truth is all creative minds become drained at one point or another. Stress, over working, over scheduling, minor glitches can create what I like to refer to as creative overdraft ( it’s actually how I visualize it). So how do I refresh, how do I feed and create balance for my creative soul? Well images like these give me enough oomph to chug on.
I love this how serene this back view looks. All I can think of is sigh!
The irregularity and imperfection of the squares yet the brilliance of the stones makes it sooo….perfect.
The curve on the legs are so sexy. The mixture of the clean upper lines and curved bottom…balance!
Oh the things I could create with these!
Excuse me, I may not come out for a while.
I have a thing for Demilune console and the design is classic.
I also have a thing for tufted sofa. This has soft lines and narrow arm. A statement piece that will make a home.
The intricacies yet simplicity in appearance of this piece is astounding.
This is such a designer’s layered look, I don’t even know where to begin. The colors, patterns, textures, lines all correlates for comprehensive look.
Ok first let talk about the walls. They are covered in lavender colored silk. I can just imagine how it feel to the touch. The base color is soft and punctuated with a dash of yellow and infusion of periwinkle. Those pair of vintage slipper chairs on the left are upholstered in faux fur. The spacing is intimate and looks lived in. My heart smiles.
